Report Graffiti on a Phone
Switch Box
To report Graffiti
on a phone switch box, call 1-800-246-8464. The
automated voice will come on and give you
options. Select #1 (Phone Repair) Then press #5
for "Damage to phone facilities". Try to call
during normal business hours however
representatives are usually available after 5pm
A representative will come on the line. Explain
you are reporting graffiti on a box. Have the
box number which is located on the front,
usually in red/orange background with black
letters.
Give the larger numbers which are the pedestal
address and the street name where the box
is located.
Also give them the nearest street address.
If graffiti is reported quickly, in many cases
taggers will give up and move on because they
know their graffiti will be quickly removed. The
box may be tagged several times before the
tagger gives up but persistence pays off.
Report Graffiti on a
Traffic Control Box, Light Pole, Street Sign
or other City Property
To report
graffiti on a silver traffic control box (ground
or mounted on a pole) or traffic light poles,
street signs and other city property (bridges,
fences, libraries, park equipment etc.), call
311
Graffiti on vacant buildings, fences and
non-city property can also be called in to 311
